Formula 1 Betting By Numbers
For the benefit of anyone new to this blog, the following 'Betting Proft' chart shows the profit you would have made if you'd bet £1 on the same driver for a top ten finish at every Grand Prix during 2013:

* Please note, even in the few days before first practise, the odds can sometimes vary slightly, so I've generally tried to take the odds a few days before each Grand Prix as soon as the market opened on SkyBet.
As you can see, Paul Di Resta has been the bet to go for in this market, consistently placing in the points scoring positions at every Grand Prix bar Malaysia when wheel nut issues caused his retirement early in the race.
Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel have also been solid bets, although obviously any winnings aren't going to break the bank as in recent races they've been priced at a very slim 1.14.
Daniel Ricciardo is the other noteworthy bet, and he's perhaps the bet to go for if you're prepared to take more of a risk in the hope of better returns, as for his points scoring finishes at China and Spain he was priced at a fairly decent 3.25 and 2.75 respectively.
